Quant- ML Engineer

We are looking for a Senior-level ML Engineer to maintain and expand the machine learning systems that drive our core business: real-time esports pricing. Our models directly dictate market odds for high-volume titles (CS2, Dota 2, LoL), and our product is 100% reliant on the accuracy and latency of these models. We are looking for a senior engineer who possesses both mathematical intuition and engineering rigor required to serve these models in highly volatile, live environments. To complement your core skills, you are able to leverage modern AI tooling to accelerate your workflow and rapidly prototype solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, train, and deploy probabilistic ML models that process real-time game data to estimate accurate live market odds.
• Own the end-to-end model lifecycle; from driving the applied research and prototyping of custom architectures to productionizing them for reliable training and highly optimized, low-latency inference.
• Collaborate directly with trading and product teams to formulate current challenges, translate raw model outputs into actionable insights, and serve as the technical authority on model performance and pricing accuracy.

Required Skills & Experience

• Mindset: A problem-solving mindset, strong analytical skills, and a passion for building impactful ML solutions.
• ML Depth & Pragmatism: Deep understanding of machine learning fundamentals, deep learning, and statistical modeling. You have the mathematical foundation to build custom architectures, combined with the intuition of knowing which approach to pick and why.
• Rigorous Validation: Practical experience with rigorous model validation in high-stakes production environments. You don’t just check MSE; you stress-test models against edge cases and volatile live game states.
• Autonomy & Ownership: Demonstrated ability to take ambiguous business problems, define the technical ML framing, and drive the project independently from conception to deployment.
• AI-Augmented Engineering: Strong command of modern AI tooling to accelerate coding workflows, assist in custom model design, and rapidly prototype solutions without sacrificing code quality or system rigor.

Bonus Qualifications

• Esports Domain Knowledge: You understand the mechanics, meta, and competitive landscapes of titles like CS2, Dota 2 or LoL.
• Betting & Quantitative Finance: Prior experience building pricing models for sports betting, algorithmic trading, or high-frequency trading environments.
