We work with purely esports titles such as Dota2, LoL, CS:GO, as well as esports analogues of traditional sports like FIFA (soccer), NBA2K (basketball), and more. Based on the data we have available, we create and continuously improve mathematical models that help us predict match odds.
With a team of 150+ people, based in the Czech Republic and many other locations across Europe and Asia, Oddin.gg is growing at a fast pace and is looking for an experienced Product Operations Manager.
Your position among fellow Vikings:
Oddin is summoning a Valkyria or a Viking to join the raid as a Product Operations Manager to optimize the intersection of product delivery with cross-functional collaborators and stable counterparts across the business. Product Operations Manager provides coaching and builds systems to bridge communication gaps and create transparency across all teams partnering with EPD (Engineering-Product-Design) teams to ensure the best solutions for customers - increase efficiency, accelerate feedback loops, and improve feature adoption by implementing workflows and systems to ensure alignment around the product.
What would you work on:
- To act as Scrum Master/Kanban Coach for multiple, distributed development teams, with a focus on coaching the team on Agile values and practices and encouraging them to continuously improve.
- Facilitate the collection and synthesis of customer and user data for product improvement and feature adoption
- Implement and drive change management for any new or modified product workflows across teams and/or the organization
- Partner with teams across the business on the program management (ie. eSims, Affiliates, etc.) and execution of large-scale product initiatives
- Assist Dev team and Product Manager with user story development and backlog grooming, including identifying unaccounted work.
- Facilitate or/and assist all team ceremonies such as: Release Planning, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, Sprint Demos, and Stand-ups.
- Track iteration status and resolve stalled or blocked user stories as needed.
- Develop means to measure to help improve team effectiveness, including dashboard reporting.
- Introduce new ideas and processes which improve performance and productivity.
- Focus on respectful adoption of agility through the identification and resolution of existing challenges.
Skills you will have:
- Min. 3+ years of experience in senior individual contributor Scrum Master, Agile Coach or Product Operations roles, preferably in B2B SaaS (work in English)
- Demonstrated track record of delivering software products to production, coaching teams & programs at varying maturity levels using Agile & Lean methods
- Agile project management skills evidenced by industry experience or recent certification (For example, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) (or equivalent))
- Data driven analysis skills for measuring health of strategy-to-delivery
- Experience with Jira or Open Source agile lifecycle management tooling
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, including both verbal and written communication, mentoring, coaching, collaboration, negotiation, and team building
- Sufficient level of technical background to provide highly credible leadership with development teams and to be able to accurately and objectively evaluate complex project risks and issues
- Creative approach to problem solving; ability to focus on details while maintaining the big picture view
