We analyze  esports titles such as Dota2, League of Legends, as well as simulators like FIFA (soccer). Based on data from our unique partners, we create and continuously enhance our own mathematical models that help us predict match odds.

Oddin seeks an experienced leader to guide our software engineers. Your role will include driving innovation, adopting new technologies, and enhancing the team's performance to achieve outstanding results. We need a professional who is able to cover even more routine tasks such as code reviews if needed.

With a team of 200+ people, based in the Czech Republic and many other locations across Europe and Asia, Oddin.gg is growing at a superfast pace. And that brings us to you 🫵 

Your position on the board

🧭 Leadership:

• Lead one or two teams of 6-8 engineers to develop and deploy microservices on a low-latency platform using Golang, AWS, SQL/NoSQL, gRPC, and Kafka.
• Mentor junior engineering managers to enhance their leadership and management skills.
• Manage performance of direct reports, guiding them to define and achieve their growth goals.

📈 Optimization:

• Oversee agile ceremonies to ensure timely and predictable delivery of software aligned with the company roadmap.
• Continuously evaluate and improve team performance metrics.
• Identify areas for improvement in teams, processes, or technologies, and implement strategies to address them.

🤝 Collaboration and Innovation:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and quant engineers, to ensure alignment and deliver results.
• Participate in architecture and code reviews, providing constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, driving innovation.
• Champion diversity and inclusion within a multinational team across Europe.

💼 Proven Experience:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on backend development and cloud technologies.
• 3+ years of success in leading and managing engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Expertise in Scrum and Agile methodologies for efficient project execution.

• Advanced technical and problem-solving abilities to tackle complex challenges.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and supporting their professional growth.
