About the Opportunity

We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Recruiter to lead our talent acquisition efforts across the United States, with a primary focus on attracting the brightest minds in Machine Learning and other critical technologies. You will be instrumental in scaling our team and ensuring Valka.ai continues to innovate at the forefront of generative AI.

🙋 What You'll Do

Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify, attract, and engage top-tier AI/ML Engineers, Data Scientists, NLP Specialists, and other crucial technical talent within the highly competitive US market.
Pipeline Building: Proactively build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates through various channels, including LinkedIn, GitHub, Kaggle, niche AI communities, conferences, and university partnerships.
Full-Cycle Recruitment: Own the entire recruitment lifecycle from initial outreach and screening to offer negotiation and successful onboarding, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
Partnership & Consultation: Collaborate closely with hiring managers and technical leads to deeply understand their team's needs, define job requirements, and develop compelling job descriptions.
Market Insights: Stay abreast of AI/ML industry trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitive hiring practices to inform our talent acquisition strategies.
Employer Branding: Champion Valka.ai's unique culture and vision, showcasing our groundbreaking work and collaborative environment to attract the best talent.
Data-Driven Approach: Utilize recruitment metrics and analytics to optimize hiring strategies and improve efficiency.

What You'll Bring

💼 Proven Experience:

3+ years, ideally within a fast-paced tech environment as a Recruiter, with a strong focus on technical roles, particularly AI/ML.
Understanding of Machine Learning principles, AI technologies (e.g., deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision).
Demonstrated success in sourcing and closing highly sought-after technical talent in the US market.
Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and various sourcing tools.
Experience recruiting for a spin-off or a company in the generative AI space is a huge advantage!
A network within the US AI/ML community is a huge advantage!
