What You'll Be Working On:
- Lead the end-to-end development of social and community-driven features for a leading community platform.
- Build deep relationships with our users and community ambassadors to understand their motivations and bring their feedback into every product decision.
- Convert user feedback and business opportunities into clear feature requirements, and prioritize the product backlog based on impact and strategic vision.
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of community and social functionality by writing user stories, refining the backlog, clarifying requirements, and ensuring every sprint adds value.
- Work with analysts to develop community and engagement metrics, then experiment, measure, and iterate to continually improve user engagement and retention.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure social and community initiatives enhance our broader community platform and entertainment vision.
- Introduce new ways for users to interact through features like social betting, shared leaderboards, groups, peer challenges, live chats, or content creation tools.
Ideal candidate Profile:
- You have a strong understanding of iGaming and bettor motivations, combined with experience designing social and community features that foster user engagement.
- You can champion the voice of the community by translating diverse user needs and pain points into impactful features.
- You have a proven track record with modern product development, including agile workflows, backlog management, and writing user stories.
- You are excellent at facilitating productive dialogue between users, designers, engineers, and company leadership.
- You have experience analyzing user engagement data and A/B test results to inform product decisions.
- You have a talent for solving complex challenges at the intersection of social interaction and digital product design with innovative thinking.
- You can galvanize cross-functional teams and inspire a shared vision for the future of social sports entertainment.
- You are comfortable and effective in fast-paced environments, proactively identifying new opportunities and adapting quickly to feedback.
Qualification:
- You have at least 5 years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or a key contributor on a community or social product team.
- You have demonstrated success in building and launching community features, social platforms, or engagement-focused products.
- You have deep knowledge of what motivates esports/sports fans and how digital features can amplify shared experiences and loyalty.
- You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills to champion user perspectives and facilitate collaboration.
- You are eager to stay at the forefront of community building, social media trends, and engagement technologies.
