Head of Lima office

We work with purely esports titles such as Dota2, LoL, CS:GO, as well as esports analogues of traditional sports like FIFA (soccer), NBA2K (basketball), and more. Based on the data we have available, we create and continuously improve mathematical models that help us predict match odds.

With a team of 180+ people, based in the Czech Republic and many other locations across Europe and Asia, Oddin.gg is growing at a fast pace and is looking for an experienced Head of Lima.

Your position among fellow Vikings:

Oddin is summoning a Valkyria or a Viking to join the raid as a Head of Lima office and  take over management of our Lima office. 

What would you work on:

• Overall management of our Lima hub (Legal and Compliance, People, Payroll, invoicing, cost management, equipment, etc.)
• People management (Recruitment, promotion, retention, happiness, engagement, disciplinary,...)
• Vendor Management (Payroll provider, Banks, Legal, Accounting, IT and Wifi providers, etc.)
• Close cooperation with management (trading, finance controller, HR) to set and follow processes, rules and drive company objectives (vision, company culture, Integrity and Code of Business Ethics)
• Support regular team activities to strengthen cooperative spirit within local team, but also cross-country - Lima and Prague (Team Buildings, Christmas party, workshops about new rules Taking care about visitors, relocated colleagues from the Czech Republic: VISA, paperwork, accommodation, close cooperation with Lima team
• Responsibility for productivity, cost and service quality compliance
• Dealing with daily operational, economic and personnel issues
• Reporting to CEO

Skills you will have:

• University degree (Economics, Management, Finance) as the role should understand the “numbers”/contracts
• Experience from the similar role - leading some small company from overall perspective (Finance, Legal, IT, payroll, People management, Costs)
• Experience from a global (growing) company is huge plus (stakeholder management, cooperation with Headquarter abroad, experience from multicultural environment)
• Proven people management skills (recruitment, promotion, retention, engagement, motivation, conflicts, disciplinary)
• A strong personality - not afraid to make decisions and take responsibility, strong communication and negotiation skills (negotiating with suppliers), ability to build relationships
• Proactive approach - drive and focus on finding solutions/ways to achieve results/resolve issues but still focus on people in the office
• Get the things done attitude, independent but consultation working style, self-reflection and learning from experience
• Basic technical skills (especially hardware as he/she should be able to maintain company equipment - PCs, Local network)
• Driving license and car
• Fluent in English and Spanish
