Oddin.gg Attends SBC Summit Barcelona 2021 to represent the esports betting market

The SBC Summit Barcelona, the first live event held in Barcelona by SBC since before the COVID-19 pandemic, has come to an end. Getting underway on September 21 and running through September 23, it was a chance for players in the gaming industry to meet and reunite, some picking up where they left off from 2019. Making its first-ever appearance this year was Oddin, the leading esports betting platform provider.

The event got underway on September 21 with a pre-registration and informal meet-and-greet that allowed industry executives and representatives to come together for the first time in a couple of years. While they had all continued to work on their company's goals and initiatives during the pandemic, the lack of physical interaction had seen some companies slow down. However, that pause is now coming to an end, with SBC Summit Barcelona proving highly popular and successful for all involved.

Oddin.gg was in attendance alongside hundreds of the strongest names in the gaming industry, representing the future of esports betting. Marek Suchar, Managing Director, Partnerships, and Business Development Manager Miguel Perez were both on hand, developing new business partnerships and expanding the company's access to new markets.

Oddin, which recently added former Nevada Gaming Control Board Chair Becky Harris as a senior advisor, continues to innovate its artificial intelligence-driven esports betting products to meet increased consumer demand. The company is driven to provide a platform founded on innovation and integrity and these ideals were also reflected by Jette Nygaard-Andersen, Group CEO of Entain Plc, at SBC Summit Barcelona. During her keynote address, Nygaard-Anderson asserted, "For gambling, it’s about doing what is right. We have to monitor our customers with scientific research to protect that vulnerable minority from harms – our customers appreciate that."

A number of gaming operators have already turned to Oddin.gg for their esports betting solution needs, including Aspire Global, Scientific Games, Altenar, BetMais, BetX and more.

‘’With the U.S. market opening up and the industry already consolidating in many European countries, we expect that esports betting will reach a global value of $50 billion by 2025’’ said Marek Suchar.

Oddin's market-ready solutions have quickly found a solid place in the industry. As the company expands globally, it is already launching in New Jersey and will add other states over the next 12-18 months.
